Our Mission

Our mission is to rekindle the potential in every individual to take on leadership roles and contribute to the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:18-20. We aim to empower church leaders, upcoming leaders, and lay ministers at all levels through training that puts God as the ultimate leader.

24 Hours Prayer Network

The 24 Hours Prayer Network is a ministry under R.U.N Church Mugoma, initiated by a group of intercessors in 1995 in Kyenjojo District. Although the concept was born in 1995, it wasn’t until 2003 that Pastor Paul Busobozi brought the vision to life at the Prayer Mountain Kasozi.

Vision and Purpose

The primary goal of the 24 Hours Prayer Network is to mobilize the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ to engage in continuous prayer. In these troubled times, we seek God’s intervention in the world to fulfill His eternal purposes.

The Call to Ministry

Personal Journey

After my salvation in 1991, God called me in various ways while I was still in school. Witnessing God’s power, I became the district youth minister. In 1997, I devoted my life to seeking God through prayer and fasting, asking Him to reveal my calling.

The Vision

In 1998, God gave me a vision: I was given the power to serve water that would quench the thirst of countless people. This vision, along with others, led me, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and my pastor, to attend theological school in preparation for the ministry. Upon nearing the completion of my studies in 2001, I sought God for direction on where He was sending me.

God revealed “Kasozi” to me, and thus began the establishment of the altar of prayer, calling many people to seek His face. Despite financial constraints, I trusted God to fulfill His promises as stated in Numbers 23:19-23 and Isaiah 2:1-5. I envisioned a large tower at the mountain with lines connecting from different nations, forming a vast web reaching into the sky. This, God revealed, was the altar of prayer, and I saw myself standing there for a long time.

Establishing the Prayer Mountain

Upon returning from Kampala, I shared the vision with my pastor. We visited the mountain, and the power of God manifested. Introduced to local leaders, I began my ministry under a tree, then in small tents, and eventually built a mud house as a house of prayer. Today, we have constructed our first permanent house of prayer.

God's Faithfulness and Miracles

God has shown His goodness and faithfulness, demonstrating His power through healing those afflicted with mental illness, blood pressure, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and causing the lame to walk in His name. He has brought unity to the Church, enabling pastors to work together and breaking the stronghold over the land.

Expansion of Prayer Altars

We have established various prayer altars in locations such as Kyarusozi, Mugisa, Kasese, Mugoma, Mbale, Kamwenge, Kabarole, and Kampala. In February next year, we plan to expand into Congo.

Ministry Objectives

Call for Support

The organization focuses on mobilizing churches for prayer and developing the Prayer Mountain. We seek sponsors to support the ministry, enabling the purchase of building materials, tents, musical instruments, ministry vehicles, stationery, library books, medicines, and care for fatherless children and widows.
